Today was the last day of my Railpass, so I took a trip to Shukugawa, a city near Kobe.
I must be honest: there is only one reason to go to Shukugawa for and that is the hanami (cherryblossom-watching) in spring along the river.
I had a stroll away from the river at first, but there was really nothing special to see but flats, local industry, flowershops and dentists.
So I stopped being stubborn and walked along the river upstream – all the way until it’s beginning (or just as far as one could go, which was about 5 km north of the station) and back again. Man, I think I never saw so many cherrytrees in my life!
